Are there several competing companies in telecommunications in your country? It is nice to have some so that they would compete against each other in providing consumers the best service at the lowest cost. Don't you think so? Bell, Rogers and Tellus are the major players in the country I live in. We are subscribed to Bell for our land line (as well as cable and internet) What about in your area, who gives the best service and the cheapest rate? Are you subscribed to them?

There are four major telecommunications in my country which is Jamaica. There is Cable and Wireless, Digicel, Flow and MiPhone. Most person are on Digicel but I believe that when MiPhone come fully on stream then the competition will be on. Cable and Wireless is an old familar name and there rate is quiet good but Digicel has become so expensive and person does not see it has yet. Where cable is concern Flow deal with that. You can get Cable and Internet services from them. My internet service is from Cable and Wireless because they provide us with home phone. While my cellular service is Digicel. I am waiting for MiPhone because they will be implementing a Sim that you can be able to have one phone with three numbers and I think that this is wonderful. I have not check around for the cheapest price in Internet Service because C & W says that I will be getting the modem free of cost so I just go with them. Do you have to pay for the modem? I never ask about this. I think that I just jump to the offer because it sounds great.Kerry
