Well they won the gold which most people thought they would. And it was a pretty close game with spain coming in with 4 points in the fourth quarter. So I think they met everyones expectation if they lost this game I think most people would of called there run this year a faliure including them since they wanted the gold so bad. Yeah I thought it was pretty good game was close till the end. It was the only game that I watched because of the timee couldnt stay up to 4 during the weekdays.

The Gold medal game was a excellent game and you have to give Spain a lot of credit because they played without there starting point gaurd. The United States basketball team would not have won if Kobe bryant was not on this team.

Kobe was the missing piece that the U.S. did not have throughout the whole Olympics last time. I think a knee injury got set him out before the turnaments started last time.

It was really a good game the spaniards put up a great fight against the hungry US team. they scare the US team when they cut the lead to only just two points with the almost half the quarter remaining, but as expected Kobe Bryant create plays that saves them. Bryant scored a basket, assisted on a Deron Williams three-pointer, passed marvelously to Dwight Howard under the basket, hit a three and, with 3:10 left on the clock, converted a four-point play after being fouled on another made three-point attempt, opening the lead to 108-99. Spain scrapped back. With 2:25 to play at the Olympic Basketball Gymnasium, Spain was just four points behind and the crowd of about 13,000 was cheering on the Spaniards as if the game were in Madrid. Dwyane Wade hit the three that ended that comeback, and, as it became a free-throw contest for the United States, the celebrating began.

I watched this game and it's a very exciting game because Spain played better than I expected. And in the 4th part, there was only a little gap. Unfortunately they couldn't keep on it and finally Spain lost this game. I hope the basketball level will be improved from other countries, because I like to watch a game with an unknown answer. I love China

It was a good match. Really good I tell you, but not good enough to become a legend. Classic, I should say is a better description. The Spaniards put up a good fight. It was worth it to watch as it is a battle for national pride.

I knew Spain would play a better game than they did last time they faced USA Basketball. I'm not suprised they did better and to be honest i'm not suprised it was as close as it was.

U.S was dominating. Spain only got close to them with a 2 point different so it wasn't really any great exiting game. It doesn't matter if you missed it. It's not a game which will become a basketball legend. No damaged done.
