Taking Things personally

I really enjoy chatting with people on the internet. I am shy so find talking quite hard at times so do not always say what I think but writing it down is easier. I do however find the views of some people quite difficult to understand. I know people have different views and opinions and that is fine but it seems that some people have take them a little too far. Ive read comments about certain celebrities which no matter if you hate them or not are totally uncalled for. I go on a Jason Statham website and have numerous "discussions" on there about his girlfriend because the other people said they did not like his gf because she did not smile etc but I stuck up for her by saying, she is having a camera shoved in her face when she is out shopping etc. She smiles at premieres etc. Anyway, I dont even know if he is still with her but the point is that I always seem to be the one who is sticking up for people. I never judge a book by its cover. I guess I just do not see the same problems with certain celebrities as other people do. What most confuses me is that a lot of the time they will say that they do not deserve to be famous, are only famous for their looks etc and things like that but they are the ones on an internet forum talking about them lol. Like the other day there were photos of Kelly Brook online and someone said about her not being famous for much. Well then why are you looking and commenting on her then? What really annoyed me was the person who started a discussion on why Jade Goodys cancer is being widely reported in the news becaus she is no different to an other person. A good point is made there but ruined by the fact that person posted the topic. If she is no different then why post a discussion about her on a media forum? Do you find that you take things a bit too personally on the internet whetehr it be about you or other people? Ive had some nasty remarks but nothing too bad. Usually the people who are mean to me and mean to other people as well so I try not to let it bother me too much.
