29th is over, 30th is ahead, has anyone made up any decision to unite in UK?

Hi Lynette, Like the new avatar, I am not that interested in the Olympics and I'm in the UK so if you do want to see it live a lot of the water events are being held in the South West so you could come stay here. I think you get to see more from the TV these days anyway you just don't get the atmosphere. Ellie :D

Thanks, ellie, i used to turn a blind eye to the olympic games, this year it was held in China, and the torch realy transferred even in my city, i got really excited. Maybe it's so close and i don't see it with my own eyes that arose my enthusiasm. Who knows, maybe one day you will be crazy about it too
If i visit London, i will pay you a visit and see your lovely kids.

I really enjoy the olympics. It seems like by the time I really get them worked into my schedule though they are already finishing up. I didnt even realize that they were going to be in London next time. That is really cool. I think they were talking about them coming back to the United States after that 2016 Chicago right? I dont know when if ever, I would be able to afford to see the games in person. Maybe one day.

I was living in London when the Olympics bid was won, and I was excited to know there would be some events taking place in Greenwich Park, which was within walking distance of where I lived.
I have since moved out of London, and I find there is even greater enthusiasm here on the south coast of England, because of the sailing and rowing events which will be taking place on the sea.
I watched the closing ceremony, along with hundreds of others, on a big open air screen, and people started clapping as Boris the major took hold of the Olympic flag. I was thrilled to see the scenes of crowds in London. I don't know if I will go there to watch the games, I may just travel along the coast and see some of the events taking place there.
