Hi friend, Today in my house while taking our meals,we want salt to mix in the vegetable curry, but to my notice it is over. That i forget,so i went to the kitchen room and bought the salt box to the dinning table, when i am trying to pour some of it,its not coming than i understood that its over. So,i kept the food aside and started to take other item which is quite sufficient of salt. After finishing my meals,i went to the shop and bought salt.In this way i do if there is no salt in my house while eating. This kind of things happens some time to me.Like me,did it happened for you too.If so,just share your views as how to tackle it. Have a nice day.

We have a salt substitute in our house and Mrs. Dash which is seasonings to make up for salt. I have high blood pressure and live in a cool climate. I'm not supposed to add salt to anything. I get enough in the fish and meat that I eat. It is different where you live. Take care.

My husband worked in Saudi Arabia, so he drinks Gatorade and has to have salt to taste his food. But if someone puts salt in my food, that's all I taste, it's like licking a salt block to me. His blood pressure was actually too low when he went without salt, but he also works in a hot factory. I usually work where there is air conditioning set at 70 degrees. Take care

Yes it true. Here there won't be too much cool and not that much taste you are having there. So it is must for us to add salt in each and every dish Have a nice day.

I used to use salt when I eat eggs, other than that very rare that I do. Maybe because I use broth when cooking so there is no need to add salt anymore. But yea I eat eggs quite often so I do keep stock of salt, it's just that if we run out of salt I just wait until next grocery time to go and buy one. It doesn't really bother me so to say.

Hello,Sudha! I have not experienced such a situation in my life.I always keep extra stock of salt and sugar. In emergency cases like yours,I must opt to cook some items with only sugar and manage the situations.but it will be good to keep extra stock of all essential commodities in the kitchen.thanx.

Oh,friend~~no salt?just kill me then...lol...im kidding.Well,if u cook meal without any salt, absolutly it will be poor taste.Of course at the same time, this meal is good for your health. In fact,i have read a article at a magizine, and it said everyone should absorb no more than 6g salt per day.So little, rite?happy mylotting my friend~
