He was born on August 29, 1958. Michael Joseph Jackson, will be 50 years old in five more days. I have been a fan since the first time I heard him sing. When I was a little girl, "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough," was the hit song on his 1979 hit album titled "Off The Wall." I guess you could say that it was love at first listen. I know all of the accusations that come to people's mind when they think of him now, but he is still a legend in his own right and deserves a celebration or at least a shout out. I may even turn on my radio for the first time in ages and listen to the musical tribute for his birthday, that I never missed as a child. Regardless to what he has done or not done, his music still gets my feet tapping and my fingers popping. What is your favorite Michael Jackson song or whatever you like the most about him? Let's try to keep it positive. http://www.popeater.com/music/article/michael-jackson-faces-50th-birthday/144833

I do wish him a Happy Birthday. I remember Michael from way back. He used to be part of the Jackson 5, singing with his brothers. He was just an innocent cute little boy. Times sure have changed for him. I have always liked his music. It will get you tapping your feet and signing along. I remember when he made his big come back, hewas so popular then. It is sad about what has happened since then.

I know. I hate to think of him as a Hollywood Casualty, but made all the stress and pressure got to be too much for him. I know that he has given a lot to the world in the form of entertainment and charity donations. I hope that he can make a successful comeback and stay out of trouble this time.

"Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" is my mom's favorite Michael Jackson and it's mine too. I agree with you completely abotu him being a legend. Despite all the rumors and accusations, whether true or false, he is a musical genius and his music, particularily his older stuff, never fails to make me dance and sing along. He's an icon and that can never be denied.

Oh Miss Rozie there are sooo many songs that I can't even pick one favorite!! If I'm in a nostalgic mood it would have to be "I want you back" yes I do now... good Jackson Five song! All MJ dance songs are always over the top! He's got his issues however musically speaking he's brilliant and has left millions with nothing but fond memories!

It still hurts me to know that of all the things that he could be accused of, he has been accused of the one thing that ruined him at his core. He was known for his love for children and that was what ultimately took him down. I do not know whether he was guilty or not, it is not for me to say. But I will say this, he has certainly mad a mark on the world and we will never forget, Michael Jackson.
