Cash is king, but credit card is convinient. i use credit card as much as i could. Payment by credit cards give me points that i can redeem for goods at the end of the year. But of course i make sure i pay in full every month. as not to be charged with interest.

Oh the interest sucks, that is one reason why I shredded my card a few months ago. I didn't want to risk not being able to pay it one month and have a my bill be bigger.

I always prefer to use credit card. I don't like carrying a lot of money because it's not safe and it's also dirty. And you have to pay attention not to get the fake banknotes. Credit card is much more convenient. Besides, my bank will give me some gifts according to my consuming. I can also return the money next month. This is the big advantage of the credit card. I love China

Same here, id like to use credit card but the problem is sometimes im over spending which cause of disadvantage for me because the money intended for other things will be diverted to the credit card bills which is not so good. thanks for responding.

Hi there, I prefer to use credit card doing shopping if I don’t have to pay the 3% bank interest. So I always ask the casher before making any paying. If I’m the one who pay for the bank charge the stuffs I buy surely I have to pay more for that. The higher the price we purchase the more we have to pay. If we buy 200 dollars stuffs that means we have to pay extra 6 dollars for the bank charge. It’s not worthy at all, so I would rather pay by cash. I always pay by credit card when doing shopping in the two hypermarkets here as I don’t have to pay the bank charge and they don’t have the minimum payment limit anyway. posting and take care.

As im yet to have my credit card I will shop only with cash. The interesting part with credit card is that, you dont have to carry money with you every time you go outside. If you like to get a particular product you can just swipe in with your card.Thank You

I used to use a credit card when I went shopping, and now I wouldn't think of using it again. In fact I shredded it so I wouldn't be tempted to use it anymore. It just didn't seem worth it to have the card and the interests rates. I still keep it open so i have an open line of credit to help my credit score right now, but I don't use it. I just use cash or my debit card that way I know I have the money to buy something.

I try and use cash if I have it but it is not to often that I do. I mostly like to use my debit card that way I do not spend so much and do not have to worry about paying it off later. I do have a credit card I use sometimes but will never put more on it then I know I will be able to pay off in one month.

Inever buy anything unless it is on sale or I have a coupon, so credit cards are not acceptable. Just means you buy on sale and then pay the interest on it for awhile - so where's the savings? But I take my weekly allowance (lord have mercy, that's the first time in 31 years I've been able to say those two words together! Wow - let me catch my breath!) Okay, I put my weekly allowance in my checking account and then transfer it to my PayPal debit card. THat way, I can only spend my specific budget. But, buy using hte PP debit card as credit, I get 1% cash back on my purchase. IT goes right onto the card and increase my "balance" by that much. No, it isn't record setting income, but it helps. Any large purchase, I always try to plan ahead and put that money on the debit card and then when I make the purchase, I'll get the cash back on that large purchase. Every little bit helps!

well, for me... its really a disadvantage in shopping with your credit card... especially when you're really drawn in shopping and then you realize you've spent a lot! what a debt! cash is much more safer, because you'll know how to budget your money. and if you really want something... then just save for it
