The place where i live is hot and humid hence mosquito menace is unavoidable. I use mosquito repellent mats as I am not able to tolerate the smell of both coils and liquid repellents. Earlier I used mosquito repellent lotions but then someone told me it was not 100% safe for our skin. Are there mosquitoes where you live? How do you handle this kind of menace?

Getting out of mosq is in your hands.... lotion, mats, sprays are really makes some side effects... So the best things are Mosquito nets (big size to cover entire bed) which covers the big areas and you can save yourself and air flows are also good. My strategy I keep doors closed in evening when are very active and fenced all windows with nets. I keep my mats on between the peak hours and switchit off for half an hour and puts on aftwerwards for cycle of air flows. Then i go into my net and having good sleep.

Oh yeah. Never thought of this option at all. Was always thinking of some great ideas, and this elementary thing like a net got missed out. I think this should be the simplest way out :)

This is kind of fish net, but in bigger rectangular size. It sized around 6ft x 6ft based on your requirement. Its cheaper and one time expenses too..say you can get for 8$. You can tie the four corners to the cot or room corners and you can have cool sleep.

I'm kind of naturally immune to mosquitos, I mean they bite me with less frequency than with my other relatives here in the house. I feel lucky heehee. But then what we do is use those electric mosquito repellents which works like mosquito coils.

Try to use the peelings of lansones. After drying them, put the peelings (10 pcs.) on a tin lid and light them up as you would in a mosquito coil. The fumes are a natural killer to the pests. A good habit also is to empty old tires of its rainwater and even flower vases water need to be changed. Also, there is a mosquito repelling tree available at your plant shops nearby. Just ask for it form the sellers.
