Which "scares" you the most, hospital bills or credit card bills?

I was aghast when I saw our hospital bills..whew!!! It's like we've gone home with a gold bar in our pockets. (lol). But he good side of it, is unthinkable and I'm just happy that the relative is already well and smiling and most importantly- alive. Count your blessings always...it doesn't matter that there's a big gaping hole in my pocket. What's money?-paper only..he he he...

Well there is interest on credit card bills and no interest on the hospital bills so I would say the credit card bill are worse.

Everyone I know can not afford to pay all at once because the bills are too high. Most hospitals will accept a payment plan and if they don't I would still send monthly payments to them until it is paid off.

I think it has to be the hospital bill. At least I have control over what I spend with my credit card and know exactly how much. But with the hospital bill, it would come as a shock! And a lump sum that you have to pay is really painful. Ouch!

Hmmm, funny one. Hospital bills is the scariest if you have to pay it by yourself. If you use insurance, it won't be scary at all.
