I have not been able to sleep through the night for years. I go too sleep just fine , but then something wakes me up and then I can't go back too sleep for anything. I basically get by on about 2-4 hours of sleep a night and the older I am getting the more exhausted i have been and i have a toddler in the house now and I am just soo sooo sooooooooo tired. I am getting to where I cannot function very good. The house is a wreck. I am all alone so it is not like i can take a nap pr anything, when my toddler takes a nap i have too try and get housework done. My hubby is a truck driver so I am all alone. all of my family live quite a bit away from me and I only see them a couple of times a month.

I sympathize on your situation. So you can sleep, try to lie down on the bed and close your eyes. Don't dare open your eyes. I have tried that before and it works for me, I didn't open my eyes until I was able to sleep. We need to force ourselves to sleep. We need it to make us more alive.

Your main problem is that you are a single parent. You are always stressed about the well being about your child and feel you are the only one to look after. Another person being in the house always helps at least for moral support. I had this problem when my husband was away. Try meditation and take a warm water bath before sleep. It is important to sleep at the particular time everyday no matter what. Also don't sleep immediately after food. Take a break and visit your near and dear ones. It will surely help.

try doing yoga before going to sleep.....listen to pleasant music and forget the incidents if any ..........if anyof these doesnt work ......then you may try a sleeping pill........better consult a doctor.
