When I was a kid, my friend's Sicilian grandmother made a delicious snack out of Zucchini blossoms. She whould dip fresh male blossoms in beaten egg and seasoned bread crumps and fry them up!! Wonderful.

When I was at my mom's for a couple of weeks this summer, I fried up squash blossoms several times. They are sooo tasty! I also snagged more than a few of her daylily flowers and added those to the mix. Except for the fried part, they're also good for you!
