Our oldest daughter gets terrible migraines. She has to miss work, go to bed and is really sick for a day or two. She recently had Botox injections to reduce the "crow's feet" on the side of her eyes. She hasn't had a migraine since this time. I decided to read up on this and see why this has happened. Below is a link to a really good, informative article. Although the injections aren't cheap, if it helps this is a good thing. Would you do something of this nature to prevent or lessen the pain involved with migraines?

I would. From what I understand they are terrible! Anyway to get some relief would be welcome in this case. I have a friend whose husband has them everyday...he can't even work. And they can't find the source. I hope she does this and get much needed relief!

Hi carolbee,
I'm glad your daughter don't suffer from migraine anymore after having botox. I would like to have botox but I'm too much of a coward and can't afford to get it done, I just have to take migraine tablets. Well done to your daughter.

I'm sorry to hear about your daughter's migraines. I could relate because I do get terrible ones to. Whenever I have a migraine, I spend most of my time between writhing and crying in bed and throwing up in the bathroom. As bad as I have them and as much as I would like to relieve myself of these painful headaches, I don't think I'm ready for Botox injections. I have issues with needles and I don't think I want them that close to my vision periphery.
Have you heard of feverfew? I think it's an herbal supplement and I had someone recommend it to me. Anyway, I hope your daughter doesn't t get those terrible migraines again.
