I added a new interest to mylot

Hi friends,
I added a new interest to mylot. It is animation movie under the movies interests. I added this as I thought it can be a place to discuss about animation movies on whole for discussion rather than a single movie at a time. I added it only a few days ago and so far it has only 4 people with this interest. Is this the case with the interests you added also. 
If so what do you think is the reason for this low turnout

I think people add interest at the first time they join this site. After that they don't go back to join another interest. I also have added an interest called sharing zone but i have not seen anyone adding them after i have announced that. This interest was supposed to sharing things like download songs, softwares, movies.
but i never saw anyone who had used that interest.

Well, a lot of times, it is because people have not found it yet. I was one of the first ones I think to add WalMart to the interests, and until I made this discussion of mine come back up to the top, not very many had chosen that one as well. One thing that helps an interest grow is to start a New discussion or two for others to see, and then be able to chose to mark it from there.
