You used to have a lot of money, can buy things that you want..But suddenly, money was a problem. let's say that life is not the same anymore.. Do you think you can still "afford" to be happy, even if you only have a little left? Does money makes your world go round?

oh most definitely you can be happy on very little. it is a matter of deciding what is important and not having to have the latest 'stuffs' that are available. there are plenty of things that dont cost a lot of money to do at all!

Hi eihdra, I believed that answer is YES! Happiness will never just depend about money, it is the attitude of the person about life! As long as we are with our loved ones and they are all healthy, we always and absolutely happy for that and that will motivate us to work hard and earn money to provide with our family!

Money is not everything in life. But lack of it surely makes life a misery. Thats the reason people all over the world work hard to earn a living, without being employed we cannot have money to buy our daily necessities. I still believe that piece of paper is still valuable and does make a difference in life when we have enough to spend.

I was married to money for 5 years, basically my ex-husband worked and gave me the check book after he paid the bills, so shopping it was! Did it make me happy, obviously not, he is an ex for a reason. I have way less money now and I am absolutely more happy with my life the way it is now than it was with him. So, no money does not make my world go around.

Having just enough money to supply your basic money is definitely not reason to be unhappy. I know several people who make just enough money just for each day who are even happier than me!

Whie it would be nice to have a lot of money, it really don't make my world turn. I just wish that it wasn't a big issue though...cause when you have bills to pay and no cas, then you start to worry about not having money or meeting your bills payments. When I do get paid, I budget my cash carefully so that it cna last me until the next payday

Hari! Don't be sad if you have no money. I am also very arm. The real happiness has nothing to do with the money. It originates from God and you can feel it in your heart. We are the spiritual soul and not the material body. The body has something to do with the materials that are connected with it. But we, the living entities have nothing to do with it. So the real happiness doesn't depend on money. It depends on our relation with God and nothing else. You can try calling Him by chanting or singing the Holy Names of God: Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Ráma Hare Ráma Ráma Ráma Hare Hare Just sing these Holy Names of God and you'll be happy! Try it! Gouranga! (means be happy!)

of course. It must be difficult.but in another side,a person would have to earn more money to make the life better.so I think,it's just need to let your heart to change with the changing, maybe happiness would be got back.

Hi eihdra! Life definitely will not be same without money is a fact. As i said somewhere, money is a necessary evil for our survival. Whereas happiness is a state of mind! It is upto you to have control over your mind and choose to be happy or not happy, irrespective of presence of money or without it!

I'm guessing you'll be surprised to find out that according to recent surveys on countries with the most happiest people, most countries in the top 10 are the countries that are not rich. Money does make the world go round but it can never make you truly happy.

Sure, I could, my health is more important than money, I just need enough as my cousin say to keep the haunts off. I don't spend that much money anyway I just need enough to pay the necessary bills.

I would imagine that you can be happy without a lot of money, as long as your basic needs are met. I'm happy now and money's still an issue for me sometimes. Although not anywhere near as much as it used to be. By the same token, I know well of people that are miserable.

It is not easy to live life without enough money, we need money in the times of certain emergencies also like accident, illness etc, if not plenty we must have enough money to support all our expenses and have for emergencies in futures also

Hey there, I think I have came across this type of discussion about money and hapiness before. I think there are a lot of examples of people being happy without plenty of money. You just have to take a walk outside and you will see a lot of people with limited means who still can be happy. However, we need money to survive in this world so for me, as long as money is enough for me to pay my bills then it is enough but of course if you want to enjoy your life you will have to be financialy free otherwise lack of money will burden you.

I dont need to be rich to be happy. Many rich people have everything but they dont know what to spend it on anymore when they've got everything in the world. Money helps you to move on but in the middle-class that's fine. I know love can buy money or a house but money its not all important to me. I love what I have in front of me and money goes and comes back. Some people get luck in winning a lot of money for some reason because they sure will use it well compared to others wont. I will always be happy but that's what they say when you got so much take care of it even when you dont have so much money.
