I had class this morning so things were rush rush. I got home after 1 this afternoon. I worked on the pc for awhile then I laid my head down near our little dog Corkie here on the couch and fell asleep for 3 hours!!! Corkie is known for putting people to sleep that is why we call him the sleeping pill he works better than ambien! Well he put me straight out for 3 hours. He generates an unreal amount of body heat for such a little dog (under 10 pounds) he has always been like that. Now it is raining again so needless to say I have gotten nothing down today. I had planned to rip out one of our containers of tomatoes and transplant some herbs into it and plant some radishes in it but it did not get done. Has a nap ever derailed your plans?

Wow sounds like something might be going around - I got up the morning, played on computer till the sun came up then went out to the garden, picked everything I need for another batch of tomato sauce but afraid it's all still setting under the tree in the wagon. Daughter came over and got some eggs and a few other things from the garden (they have no food) but after she left I came in and wasn't feeling good - I sat down in my recliner and fell asleep for almost 2 hours. Now I'm up but not feeling good at all, achie, chills, runs and all :(

I can't say that my own naps have ever derailed my plans, but my husband's naps have. The guy would fall asleep in his car in the drive-way if I let him.... that actually happened once. LOL I went out to look for him, and he was sleeping on the steering wheel of the rental car. LOL I have had to do some pretty unorthodox things to wake him up, including something I call the double-barrel cold pack (pulling my gel pack out of the freezer, putting both hands on it, and then grabbing both sides of his naked body!!!! Hey, that's my last resort. I had to do this to him yesterday morning, when he WOULD NOT WAKE UP, and he had a plane to catch. LOL Hey, it WORKED!!!
