I think it could it may create better thinking, as it is an oxygen and especially when you go out walking, to get out there with nature, I really think it does help, it just tends to make you think clearer..

yaa i really appriciate your word ..but a simple walk doesn't tends to reduce your depression..as regard to excercise it's take you completly out of focus from depression to someextent..

I've heard this is a possibility. But I personally haven't tried working out to reduce my depression. I don't know if it's really worth trying, but that's just me talking. I would imagine that it mostly have to do with keeping your mind focused on something else besides the depression. So instead of working out I play guitar, listen to music, or teach myself something like a new language.

Since Ive started going to the gym regulraly Ive noticed that I have not been feeling as low. Ive sufferered with depression for a few years but have defiently been feeling alot better since exercising more so I think for anyone who is depressed and does not do much exercise, it is certainly worth trying.

I agree... Exercise works almost like a pain killer reducing stress/depression.. It releases some kind of enzime in your body which makes you feel good for 24 hours or so...
