Does this seem strange to you?

My daughters is only 19 months old, but she has a 4 month old little half sister. I was talking with my daughters dad earlier tonight and I asked him what size clothes his youngest is wearing since I have so many of my daughters old clothes boxed up. I play on sorting through them and picking out the ones that will still fit the baby. He was happy about the idea. When I was telling my mom about it later she looked at me like I had grown another head. Do you think it is strange that I would offer my daughters old clothes to her half sister? Would you have done it too?

If I was on good terms with the Dad, I would offer up the old clothes. It isn't like you are going to need them in the near future and they are sisters.

Whatever has transpired between you and your ex..that is between the two of you. The children should not be caught in the middle. After all, they're half-sisters. I don't see anything wrong you giving away your daughter's old clothes..what you'll gonna do with them anyway? You'll just give them away most likely anyway, so why not to her half-sister? Charity begins at home, so they say...right?
