Who says popcorn is only for the movies? Take popcorn and enjoy it as a light snack why not it is low in calorie and high in fiber, which has been shown to improve glucose metabolism in people with diabetes.

Again, again roshand, you never fail me for good ideas that you post here. Thanks a lot for being so resourceful. I've not really learn to love popcorn but now that you posted you've given me the drive to try that. Anything healthy I always go for it! Thanks again my dear!

Popcorn is one of my favorite foods. I often pass thru the cinema section of the mall and mmmmmmm!!! The smell of popcorn fills my senses and makes me feel so hungry. I just love that smell. I wonder how I can properly air pop some corn?

Hi there roshand8 You are just full of good tips aren't you? Personally I don't enjoy eating air-popped popcorn so would prefer to go without but I guess if I was a great lover of popcorn and was a diabetic this would be really good to know. I will pass on your information though to any diabetics or dieters that I should come into contact with!!

Air-popped corn is also excellent for people watching their diet. If you feel like a snack, a bowl of popcorn (with a bit of salt maybe, but no butter!) is a much better alternative to potato crisps, biscuits or other fatty snacks. It's very filling too - a great idea! (I might make some tonight.)
