Why does the family not support a Small Office - Home Office working style?

i AM too emotional in writing down this issue.
i have tried a lot .. for the past few years to run my business through S.O.H.O.
The All American style of working and functioning from HOME.
Do they not call it Small Office, Home Office style?
Now, my point of dispute is.. the family always considers me FREE. they dont give respect to the office schedules that I have to adhere. They think, as i AM at home, I am FREE.
What is the experience of others .. in this point? Please share.

Ha Ha !! You are not alone in this . Even my Family considers me a lot freer than what I am actually .
So just chill and take things 1 at a time .

Thankyou for your response. By the way, Where are you from,.We seldom find such S.O.H.O people here in INDIA. i am a consultant, and a freelance professor. So, my work hours are being MANIPULATED and USED by my family. lols.
What is your nature of work? Can you share some funny anecdotes?
