A NEW Red Sonja

Do you remember the film RED SONJA? It preceded the CONAN films with a warrior women for the lead character which was played by Brigette Nielson.
Well guess what my friends. I tried read in movie news that a NEW Red Sonja film is in the works. The director is none other than Robert Rodriguez. This is the man that has brought us such films as From Dusk Til Dawn, Death Proof, Planet Terror, etc.
This is not the real shocker though. The real shocker is the actress chosen to play SONYA. It is none other than Charmed actress Rose McGowan. Yep that's right. Can youo believe it? I am anxious for this film. However, the choice of McGowan as SONYA is not quite my choice.
If it were up to you, what actress today would you choose for SONJA?

I will choose Angelina Jolie for that role. She will be perfect and beautifully fitted in that role. Previously,she is really impressive as a woman warrior in Tomb Raiders.

Hmm, while you are correct in the woman warrior aspect, I think she may be a little too thin for the role. then again she could tone up a bit for the film, maybe even gain a little more muscle mass.
