Obesity in children.. Who do you blame?

With the ever increasing rate of childhood obesity who do you feel is to blame for this epidemic? Are the advertisers and manufacturers of sweet treats and junk food to blame for constantly bombarding our children with attractive tv ads or do you feel the parents are at fault for giving in to demands for visits to fast food restaurants? This site http://www.obesitycampaign.org gives some alarming statistics and thats just in the states, the worldwide problem reaches further beyond that. What are your views?
