Sleeping Beauty

Hello everyone! When I was in college I have been through a lot and the only way I cope with my problems is through sleeping. That is my defense mechanism back then, instead of facing everything I just sleep until it pass on. When I feel lonely or depresses I doze off and only wakes up when I am feeling OK. There was a time when I sleep I did not even bother to wake up to eat food. I think that time I only weigh 39 kilos. (I wish I am now gosh)My record was sleeping almost 20 hours. but I was not sleeping the whole 20 hours, occasionally I will be awake but I'll just lie down and think then sleep again. My housemates thought I was really asleep for 20 hours then. I am just too lazy and too depressed to get up back then. Have you tried sleeping away all your problem? How long have you lasted lying in your bed? Wake up now and tell me your experience. Then let's doze off again. cheers

My friend, I can't sleep when I have a problem. That would be too hard for me. What would put me to sleep when I have problem is when I pray and lay all the burden on the Lord and get the assurance from His word that He is is always with me. But unless I pray and read His promises, I normally could not sleep well. Whenever I have problems, I never stay in bed. I am in fact a very early riser, earlier than the usual when I have a problem.
