What will you do if the person in front of you stares at you with seriously?

What will you do if the person seated in front of you stares at you with anger or madness in his eyes? That's weird in a way since you are stranger to him and it's just your first time to see each other in a public vehicle, let's say, a train.
How will you handle this situation without causing any commotion in the place?

i'd be brave enough to ask him calmly if there is something wrong..maybe the person is just upset or he has mistaken you for another person..it is important to clear it out first..then if he wants trouble, that's the time i'll leave him alone or worse comes to worst, i'll call for help
