Donating Blood

it is said that we all should donate blood once in a quarter of the year. this is why i have been donating blood in every three months with a hope that it helps to someone. people say that it is not good to donate others. but i didnt find any specific reason for that. i have heard that in every three months our old blood cells die and replace to others. so its goos to donate for the replcace. i am donating blood for last two years. i dont have any problem with that. i will suggest all of my friends to donate blood and to help others.

routine blood donation depends on what blood are you donating, is it whole blood, or just some components of it.. so it would be best to donate just every 6 months if you are donating whole blood, which means you are donating, the WBC, RBC, platelets and so on if there's still more to that.!!
but if you are just donating some of the blood components just like, pletelets only or RBC only and the rest of the blood was returned into you then it alright to donate every 3 months. and you are absolutely right, that i could see nothing wrong in donating blood for a cause and not selling them in exchange for something. it has more advantage and no single disadvantage that i know of so far.

Even I love to donate blood. I am not a regular donor like you. I have donated blood twice in my life time and I am so happy about it. In some way I just helped others. Right??? I wanted to do it again. Will do it in few days.
