Research on Things to Buy?

Because I will travel to Taiwan next month, therefore, I am now researching things online to buy when I get there so that I won’t regret that I haven’t bought anything when I get back. Do you do the same when you go to a new place? Do you research what’s special there and the approximate prices before arriving in the new place? Or, do you research on different products when you are planning to buy something before actually spending the money? I do. I love researching and reading comments from others before I make a decision, usually the decision won’t be too bad!

Yes, I do that too, not only before travel, but even at home. When there was no internet it was much harder to do! Sometimes the research is fun, but sometimes I get carried away and it becomes like work. But I still do it, because I get a thrill out of stretching every dollar. Then, of course, I buy neat stuff with what we saved! Gotta keep the economy circulating :-)

I don't unless I know that I will have a difficulty to speak in their language. I am a last minute person. Most of the time, I plan everything in last minutes *smiles* It is not a good habit though but I used to it for now. I don't do research on things that I want to buy as I was an impulsive buyer last time but even now, if I want to buy something or going somewhere, I still don't really do my research....
