"Distance makes the heart grow fonder". Do you agree?

In my case, I guess this theory is not working out for me. Me and my partner, we are fighting more and misunderstanding each other a lot many times.I feel like crying.I hate myself that I sent him so far away from me.I agree misunderstandings and difference in opinions are part of one's love life but this is ruining our relationship. Is it because we are committed and going through commitment phase?

i know its not necessary that distance will make hearts more fonder of each other. sometimes the distance becomes so much that it is difficult for both the hearts to travel towards each other... differences arise, communication is decreased, time may not be adjustable... it must be really difficult na?

Yes it is very difficult.Worst part is you cannot even see each other, meet and solve the problem.Sometimes it happens that you may fight, argue and hate each other but as soon as you see each other all those thoughts and anger disappears.Distance really does makes a relationship difficult when you have to face other many problems in life.I am just hoping, he comes back soon and things will be alright as it used to be before.Thank you for your response.

Yes it is because you are committed with the person and promised to love in sickness and in health and I also believe in this " when the person is away from us we will missed them more" because you will remember all the goodness in them especially to the things they were going on with us......

Having been in few serious relationship myself, I do understand that every relationship goes through some sort of phase or hard time here & there... That being said, I never believed in long distance relationships... I've tried it once, & that was it... I found that instead of growing fonder, long distance actually made us grow futher apart...

I think it really depends on the persons involved in the relationship. But i also believe that if both parties are not really that in love with each other, it turns the other way around. A strong relationship can endure separation only if both partners have trust, respect and unconditional love for each other. In that case nothing is impossible.
