are you always tempted to buy new shiny hardware?

hi there... i love computers and they are a big part of my professional and personal life. however, no matter how i drool with the hardware... i usually have a battle within myself to fight the temptation of buying a hardware unless i really need it. my latest big buy was 750GB hard drive... now, i need a retractble optical mouse. the one that i bought last year isnt working anymore... so it's a need...and not a want. everytime i pass by the computer stores, i see so many new stuff there... and i just window shop and i just admire it. hehehee... i dont' run after new the trend as much as possible. and always go for the midrange... hehehe... because if i dont, i wont be able to save money. how about you? are are you always tempted to buy new shiny hardware?
