This weekend we celebrate "Labor Day". At usa.gov, the headline reads "Labor Day—the first Monday in September—celebrates the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of America."
This is a snippet on the history of Labor Day - Labor Day: How it Came About; What it Means
Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.

Most times we take a mini vacation to Universal Studios or one of the beaches here. This year we are staying home. My son will be visiting this weekend. So Hubby and I decided to have a small BBQ on Sunday. We plan on inviting his brother. Nothing fancy or big just a some burgers and maybe chicken with all the fixings. Maybe rent a movie or play some games. It's nice to hang out with family and relax together.
What will you be doing this Labor Day Weekend? Getting together with family and friends? Taking a mini vacation?

Oh the joys of parenthood. I have yet to experience that. I don't paticularly like moving either. I have been moving around all my life and I long for stability. But I suppose this is God's will for my life. A BBQ hamburger sounds real nice. I have not had a good one in a very long time, thanks for the offer. I hope to be finish packing by labor day so that I can relax.

Rozie will that be ok with you to labor on labor day JK ;)
If you were by us I'd help you move and cook you a burger! I'm glad you're excited anyway. I hate moving and we had to help my youngest move twice in the last four months and guess what... he's moving again at the end of September
