Japanese Beatles NE 1 Else?

Just wondering if anyone else is coping with these lil buggers? They've invaded our area. They have done some damage here but not too much. In a town a lil bit away they have killed a mature tree as it was on the news. I'm finding them mainly on my pickle plants & on my roses in the flowers.

At first I thought that this may be a reference to some Asian cover band doing songs from the 60's pop group "The Beatles". lol. I am not aware of these beetles no but they certainly don't sound very nice at all!

not in recent years-but i remember once around 1980 we were overwhelmed by them,i think the town had to spray,they were eating everything.they'd get in your house,fly around,and *pink~pink~pink* off the ceiling all night.it sucked. i still hate them because of that summer.
