Don't you think making friends is so much easier while you are in college? Once you get out and are working, I think it is very hard to meet people.

Absolutely, college is easier. There are thousands of people confined to the same area, with the same goal (graduate and get a great job). There are clubs, organizations, sororities/fraternities, not to mention the people you meet in classes. In college, you almost have to work to not make friends. After college, there isn't the pool of people to choose from. I guess that's part of the reason I am itching to get back to school. To be back around people who think like me...who like to think, which has been the most difficult thing to find around here.

I don't know. I am starting college next year. Last year I just finished high school, so right now I'm not in school at all. I have a lot of friends at work. I think that work is a great way to meet new people and make friends. I think that really the hard time to make friends is when you are out of school, have a full time job and have kids. My parents used to always party and stuff when they were first together. I think that having kids just made them too busy to be able to do those things.
