what is a wassail cup?

Never heard of a wassail cup. Wassail is a drink that you make from cider, cinnamon and other ingredients. Go here: http://www.wischik.com/damon/recipe/wassail This says 'wassail cup', but it only gives the ingredients for the drink. The only thing I can really find about the wassail cup is that it's just a cup from which wassail was drunk.
