This is how I think of the Eucharist. Any comments?

wouldn't that be more of a referance to the Holy Spirit?

I think the Eucharist/communion/white wafer is just a Christian superstition. If God is really omnipresent, he should be always present everywhere, not just in a tiny white host. And if the priest's blessings are so great that it makes water holy and the wafer holy, the priest can bless every single individual and they must become holy and sinless. Cheers and happy mylotting

I think he should try it on his self first to feel what holiness feels like, to free his crooked self from sin.

Look up "Apostolic Sucession". The priest's blessings aren't based on the holiness of the individual priest, who may or may not be (as we have seen) a holy person, but on the holiness of the Apostles.

LOL, that's interesting, efc!! Pythia, I will look it up to satisfy my curiosity, though nothing will convince of the "holiness" of apostles. They were just human beings like anybody else.
