when they sent home fundraisers do you help out by buying something and going door to door for others to buy something? if so what fundraisers do you usually buy from? i'm starting a fundraiser for my son's school, to help out.

I don't have kids, but when my sister and I were in school my mother always helped out with the fund-raisers. I remember when we sold cheese, chocolate bars, candles at Christmas, and something else I can't remember.... let me think for a minute..... oh, what else was it? Oh well, can't remember. I'll come back when I think of what the other fund-raiser was. LOL ......oh yeah, MAGAZINES! LOL

cool magazines? we didn't do those we always did candy and coupon books, right now I'm getting a fundraiser kit in the mail to sell coffee and tea, and whatever else is in the brochures.

Coffee and tea? I want to come to your area and buy some coffee! I love coffee. Magazines were cool since our class won the most points. It sure helped having the school geek as a classmate! *grin*

I'm kinda the parent that doesn't like the fundraisers to much due to the fact that my kids are in elementary school and I feel that no school should have their Kindergarten or K4 students doing fundraisers. I also feel if the school district budgeted it better then there wouldn't be need for all these fundraisers. The schools spend to much on sports now a days and not enough on the important learning curricular.
