I never have that problem with my ear, only because I sleep with my ear on top of my hand. But, I often wake up with other minor aches and pains that are due to sleeping in an uncomfortable position. You're right, that hurts!

I have to sleep with my ear on my hand. If I lay down with the ear straight on the pillow, I can hear my pulse. it's weird

i never experience like that because whenever i sleep i see to it that i am comfortable with my position in sleeping and feel relaxed for me to be slept faster and take a rest especially when i arrive from work.i usually slept to gain energy again.

ouchy! lol i have done that, and YES it hurts!! but more often i fall asleep with one arm straight out, but off the side of the bed, so it isnt supported..and then wake up with the dreaded onset of "sleep rigormortis" LMAO! and back when she was about 10 i ALMOST had my little sister convinced that when that happens it was rigormortis setting in and that she need to run in circles and wave her arms over her head so she would die!! HAHAHA..man i hadnt thought about that in years!! my dad ruined the whole thing though..he caught her running in circles waving her arms over her head in a panic one day and told her i was full of it!! dang dad.

I never get that kind of hurt in my ear. I ever get numb on my hand because I like sleep with my arm under my pillow and the pillow is press by my head. So went get up I can directly sit on my bed and it's very hurt. Beside that, I usually get spasm with my calf in midnight when I sleep. It happen when I take an exercise like doing sports on that day.

Yup... but it wasn't my ear! I am currently eight months pregnant and the other night I slept on my right side almost all night long and when I woke up in the morning my belly was all off to the left side and it hurt but more than anything it looked ridiculous. Thank goodness she decided to move back a couple hours later. But I'll never forget it :)
