What should I do with these tomatoes?

I have a flat of tomatoes that I bought about a week and a half ago. They are getting really soft, they are much too soft for the things I usually use tomatoes for like sandwiches and stuff. I would hate to throw them out though. None of them are molding yet, they are just really soft. Normally if I only have one left I will just throw it away, but I think there is about 8 to 10 of them still and I really don't want to throw them away, but if I don't use them in the next day or so I will have to. What ideas do you have for what I should do with them?

There are so many things that you can do. Make a pasta sauce out of them. Throw them in a hamburger meat, peppers (red, green, yellow etc.), onions, chopped up tomatoes, seasonings and a small can of tomato paste and make a sauce for it. Make up some rice and throw this sauce overtop. Another thing you can do is freeze the tomatoes and use them later for a paste sauce or something. Just have to remember to peel the skin off when you do that.

Don't let it mold..You can prepare home made sauce out of it.But I have forgot the recipe right now,I had prepared it once with the tomatoes of my garden.

I would make some pasta sauce with them. I made some just yesterday with some tomatoes out of the garden. Cut an x on the bottom of the tomatoes and drop them in boiling water for about 20 seconds. Transfer them to an ice bath and then peel the skin off. Put them in a pot with some spices and let them simmer.

tomatoes are one of my favorite foods... there are many ways what to do with them but for me, the best thing to do with it is to slice them in circles, then, add them with onions(sliced), onion leaves(cutted), salted egg, and vinegar, tadda!!!! you have now the great appetizer... =p

Try making some pasta Sauce; even salsa.. if they are not too soft. Even if they are soft try adding them to a baked/broiled dish, drizzle with olive oil and season to taste; not sure if you are a meat/pork eater, but what a wonderful taste it is! Slice the soft tomatoes, place them on top of pork chops, chuck steak, even fish, on top of that use sliced onion... the flavor is amazing!
