Would you search first before posting a new discussion?

Well I do search first before posting! I've just noticed that even though I do search and can't see the same discussion and then when I post it and put the tags I would see the similar. Is it just me or it happen to you as well?

Hi CJay. You are not alone. I have noticed it sometimes. But I have noticed too that many times the similar discussion is posted after mine. It can happen to everyone as well. Cheers and have a good sunday.

I think this is the only rules that I don't follow in mylot. This rule is actually a waste one. In this site, the search option is based on the tagging only. So if we type the question and search, we will not get any similar result. Because no one will tag the question. But when we finish starting the discussion, we will be seeing so many discussions similar to ours. It lists the discussion based on the tags we enter. So its difficult to find if the discussions already exist or not. Happy mylotting.

Hi there, actually there is a full text on search as well, so its not only tags. But I think even though you will still find a similar to your discussion. Thank you for your response.

I do search because I don't want to post the same discussion, but sometimes we can't helped it because there are so many members! Thanks for your response .
