I am spending more time than usual on mylot the last week or so and am finding myself having to wade through more and more "Bux related" posts..... Click, Neo and God knows what others? I don't know what the deal is and maybe it is becasue I am on here more than usual lately; but I am finding it harder and harder to find original and engaging topics; and when I try my own then I get only a trickle of responses! Are you like me and on the verge of screaming FUX BUX? lol. Where are all the creative and spontaneous people that I am missing more and more everyday?

I'd say Bux them all up and send most of them away...

Now you're talkin'! If I had it my way, the bux would stop here right this minute. Once buxed twice shy I reckon. Thanks for the response SaintAnne.

I was pretty busy today, so that's where this spontanious girl was , lol. No seriously, you are right. There are a gazillion bux topics out there, also a lot of newbie discussions that are posting referral links by the lot. Sometimes I stop by to tell them, in a kind manner, to please read the rules and stop posting referral links. Some of them never respond, others seem sincerely sorry and don't post any again. Either way around, when you are on a lot it does bux you .

I think the only people that take notice are the ones that are not just in here for the money but just didn't read through the rules first and thought this was a great oppertunity to try and get a few referrals; not the people who spam every place they can possibly paste their URL, I don't think they take notice of anyone. Funny you would say that about odd superheroes, I went to an improvising theatre group called 'the lama's' last night and they did a show with one of the activities being odd superheroe's, they acted like 'ballerina man' and anekdote man' trying to safe the world of the disaster 'extinsion of all sheep'.. it was hilarious!

That IS bizarre that you only just went to an event with a funny superhero angle to it?? (Cue the Twilight Zone music) I don't believe in coincidences either..... Hmmm. I wonder what the universe is trying to tell us here? Maybe one of us is about to SAVE somebody?? lol.

Lol. Great play on the word "bux" yourself! Good to see that "spontaneity girl" has returned then! (Sort of sounds like some bizarre Superhero!)..... I just hope that we can rely on the strongest surviving here because if a lot of these new people have joined for money purposes, then the way they conduct themselves on here will quickly show them that this is NOT the way and will actually earn them very little. I too sometimes make the odd suggestion but I have no idea if anyone takes any notice. Thanks for responding.

I just try to ignore those types of discussions since it is just basically people trying to get referrals. And there are so many..and then you have them later screaming it was a scam or they didn't get paid it can drive a person crazy following those discussions..

Creative and spontanous people have the following problems with myLot. 1) They can make much more money doing anything else. 2) The passive aggressive encouraging star system. 3) Emotional infantile responses to serious discussion. There have been numerous highly intelligent people at myLot. They stay for awhile then move on fairly quickly.

Yep, Thomas73 was on my friend's list. He had a PH.D. in microbiology, btw. There have been several others just as intelligent. As to the money, it is the time (representing money) spent at myLot rather than exactly the money. The money is so little as to be insignificant, but the people we are talking about can all spend their time in productive ways that are also fun. Hence, they eventually move on sooner than most others.

I am actually still in touch with him from time to time through email etc. Yes I was aware of his degree and he has landed himself a great job in his field now. Good for him! I wish there were many more people that came up with new and refreshing things to discuss like him, yourself and a few others that I am fortunate to know on here is all I guess. I get your point regarding money as well. This CAN be very time consuming and we gotta make a living! I have just had a bit of a window the last week or so from work but I too will be dragged back to reality very shortly and will have to slow down on here as a result.

I don't know about you but I personally couldn't care less about the money! I have been here for two and a half years and have NEVER triggered or even requested a pay out. Yeah I like seeing my ten star to be honest; but I do still think that I try to mix it up a little as well..... And the infantile behaviour? Well this will exist in any forum but it is just that the ratio is becoming more powerful in the negative it seems! There are a number of people that used to be on here that I miss a LOT. Do you remember or ever interact with Thomas73? He had a "damn the masses" attitude and one heck of a mind. I guess he became disillusioned also. Well I'm a fighter and a stubborn one and that so will just keep on chipping away! Thanks for the response and kudos to you also RYBD for ALWAYS being true to yourself and for being one of the ones who defies the masses as well!

I think people are more into being cadavers where the ideas freeze and creativity goes standstill! Or else they are more into my shoes, running out of ideas to NASA scientists! lol...

Hmmm. Maybe we should all try to get NASA scientists to join up then? lol. I am just craving some new content on here; and given a few other topics concerning a similar line of thinking it appears that I am not the only one..... Thanks for responding.

Firstly, who the heck said you could stop researching Tasmania?? And secondly, unless you are like Gremlins and we can sprinkle water on you to create many, many more users like you then we still face the same issue yes? lol. By the way, you will be getting NO thanks from me for responding..... No ma'am.....

Yes I thought I might try a little sneakiness! lol. And as I have once said myself - It may be lonely at the top; but the view's FANTASTIC!

Well James... haven't you ever heard how lonely it is at the top?? Personally, I like it that way. There is nothing more for me to research... it is clear that Tasmania is exactly what we are looking for, there's nothing left but to visit it. We used to have a '3 visit' rule, but I think we will pass on that in this case! Hahahahaha.... I see no reason for you to thank me, Mr. I'm-so-Polite-and-Well-Mannered, as I was not responding to your discussion in order to do you a favor. However, I think you still accomplished the same thing in a very sneaky way.

Yeah that's it! If only I had realized this sooner. I would probably be a millionaire by now if I had! I don't seem to see so many like this anymore so this is a good thing for sure. Maybe many people became just as annoyed with this type of discussion as I do? Thanks for the response.
