Do your companies allow slippering in the office?

Would you like to put on a pair of slippers in your office? It makes my feet relaxed from those shoes. But it seems that some companies do not allow this behavior.

I'm very lucky then to wear it in office. We can wear what we want as long as it's decent. ;)

I work in a professional but very relaxed office. A lot of the time I kick my shoes off and run around barefoot, but always put them back on when a client comes in. I have worn flip flops on Saturdays, and with the types of slippers they have out now they probably could pass for shoes.

As much as I'd like to, but it's not allowed in our office. We have to wear closed shoes. Our head doesn't like to see toes.

I worked at a company that was very casual, you could wear jeans, but not flip flops, WHY?? It was a factory building converted into an office. On any given day it was only employees, when visitors were to come we would get a memo, to dress appropriate the next day. No one saw us but us, so I do not know why flip flops or slippers were ruled out. They claimed it was for safety. I could fall with a regular pair of shoes just like I could fall with flip flops, but rules are rules.

In my company, we are not allowed to do so. However, there are still people that ignore the rule. For me, i don't keep slippers in my office because I'm lazy enough to bring one to my office...lol...

I have never actually tried to wear slippers in the office but I think it would be OK! As long as I didn't wear them to meetings or something. Anyways, the people I ultimately answer to aren't even in the same country as me so what they didn't know can't hurt them! lol.
