how bad is your snoring problem? do you wake up feeling tired and fall asleep at intervals? if yes, then i think you should go and see a sleep doctor. they will do a sleep test for you to determine if you are indeed suffering from Obstructive Sleep Apnea. If it's only the snoring sound that is bothering you, there are some products in the market that is supposed to help. there is this plaster-like thing that you stick onto your nose. it is supposed to open the airway so that you can breathe without making the snoring sound. cheers ;p

Do you smoke? If you do, quitting will definitely help. If that's not it, it could be some other obstruction in your nasal/throat passages and you probably should see a doctor. I was always told my husband snored terribly, but I didn't hear a thing and I'm a VERY light sleeper. He had quit smoking just before we got together, and when he started smoking again several weeks after we married, he started snoring like a freight train and hasn't stopped since. I now know what everyone was talking about before!

There are things called breath right strips that say they help stop snoring. I do not know if those really work but I know the ones to help you breath better do work. I love those things when my nose is stuffed up or I am having sinus problems.

Try not to eat anything before going to sleep. This causes snoring. Stress and being too tired causes snoring also so avoid being into too much stress and over tiring yourself. ALso avoid eating too much , having a really full stomach and going to sleep can cause snoring also. Try to have a hot bath in the morning also, this improves your respiratory system and promotes good oxygenation and circulation in the body.
