Have you ever witnessed a meteor shower?

I never actually witnessed a meteor shower but I want to experience one. They say that it is really wonderful, but every time that they announced that it will occurs, unfortunately it has a cloudy sky.. But I'm looking forward to witness such wonderful moment.
