Does anyone know how to prevent carpal tunnel?

They make a special key board for that. It is slightly curved to prevent the movements that cause carpal tunnel. Cool huh!!! When you get used to it, it is real easy. Bout the time you think you have heard everything, I know they come up with something new. :-)+

thanks for the response, i also heard angling you wrists a certain way, not bending them too much

I thought that the condition you referred to was simply a typing equivalent of writer's cramp caused by repetitive use of the muscles. Carpal tunnel is usually caused by a trapped nerve or a congenital disorder.

Carpal tunnel is caused by repitive motion. Typing will do that. The keyboard is good. Also, take breaks after a while and stretch your wrists for relief. You can also take a B-6 supplement. You would take 100 mg a day, maybe 50 at one time and another 50 later in the day. I had surgery for carpal tunnel 16 years ago and mine is coming back. The supplements help.
