submitting tags

I do not usually submit tags to disscussions and to my responses. I have been a member for 2 years and have never reached payout. Could not submitting tags be holding me back? I have started using tags today so hopefully I will see a change in my earnings tomorrow.

Whats holding you back is the size of post you make, The more detailed, The bigger, The Better you post is what affects how much your earnings are. Miniture posts earn you nothing. No wonder your not getting any cash =\

Also tags only affect the search, Not your earnings.

I think that submitting tags helps with your earnings in a way. You do not get paid more for tagging your discussions, but tagging them helps people find them. If you tag them then they will show up at the bottom of discussions that have been tagged similar and your discussions will get more exposure.

That's an interesting thought. I do use tags and it might possibly be the reason why more people get to your discussions. Who knows?

I am not sure whether it makes a difference or not, barbie. I did notice the couple of days that I used tags in every discussion , and rated every discussion I participated in, I had higher earnings than before. I don't really know if that has anything to do with it or not, though.

Sorry to hear that. Tags help people in searching the discussions and they are not related to your earnings I guess. I don't post tags for about half of my discussions and now am reaching payout. The thing that's holding you back is your inactivity as far as I can see. You have only responded to 900 discussions in two years which shows you on an average you are posting only response a day. So stay active here and post quality responses to reach payout. All the best

I know that I am not very active on here. I try to get on at least once a day and try to respond to at least 15 post a day. I just recently gave birth and have 3 other kids plus a new baby. I get on when I can and sometimes I cannot get on at all. My husband also has an issue with this sight he thinks that it is like a chat line and thinks that it is a big waste of my time. I get on here because i have fun and I have learned so many interesting things on my lot. I guess my real problem is the time that I have or rather don't have.
