Well, I love to eat, so what worked for me was a combination of regular exercise and changing some of the things I ate. I did not necessarily eat LESS, I just ate more things that are lower calorie yet more filling. I think the most I lost in a week was around a lb, I lost weight slowly, and it was about 15 lbs total, but since I'm a relatively small person anyway, that was like 15% of my weight. I've maintained it for about a year and I'm not as careful with my diet any more, I just make sure I get to the gym and stay active as well. It's easier for me to just add more exercise, I like the adrenaline rush from it.

i went on the "cooking for david" diet, lost 60 lbs. in 7 months without exercise. every time i used to go on a diet i started working out in the gym,bad move,i gained muscle weight which was defeating my purpose so i just walked and it started melting off.the diet is for people with kidney problems but i was never hungry and ate everything except of course the ice cream, cookies, junk food.you don't have to have kidney problems to follow the diet it just limits the amt. of protein you take in.
