Do you think that all sins should be forgiven? I think that some sins are so bad that the person should be always in regret for what they did, even if the person has truely learned their mistakes and is willing to not make them again. Some things should be forgiven, like perhaps stealing, but other things like murder or rape seem so bad that the person shouldn't be trusted anymore for what they've done. What do you think?

ahhmmm...we are all people who unfortunately and unknowingly commit mistakes all over again. Imperfect as we are, it is our nature that we could somehow hurt anybody, anytime, anywhere. there is no perfect person in this world and there can never be no instance in our lives that we are sin-free! although we are like this, our ultimate mercy giver of all still do forgives us in anyway He can...even how big our sins are, still, he Forgives us. If and only if we ask forgiveness from it. Even a simple sorry from the bottom of our heart means total forgiveness for Him...so why can't we forgive also?! we are all doing the same things over and over again..no one is an exception...

i believe all that we do are forgiven. if we do take it to heart and repent and turn our backs on sin we can be forgiven no matter how grave the sin is.

Well, I am not God and know that it is basic human nature to make mistakes. Still, I have a lot of difficulty forgiving some things, namely crimes directly against people. This is an area of my spirituality that I need to work on for certain. Then, I have to ask if in fact we have the power to absolve people for horrendous acts. You are right. How do you rebuild that trust in a person? While I like to be forgiving, there are some things I can't make peace with yet. There are far too many remorseless people running around out there. These kinds of things, I must hand over to God for guidance.
