Becoming a foster parent

I have always wanted to help kids who are in need of stability in their life and love and I'm just about at a point where I think I could handle it. I know that you have to pass a background check and all that kind of thing which will not be a problem for me. Is there anything else that will have to be done? Child proofing the house or anything? I know also, it will depend on the state I live in *WA* but any general info would be appreciated.

I only know lil bit about foster parent little momma.lIKE u said they have to check your bg etc,but what the hard thing for being a foster parent is that when the kids you taking cre of they found a family who gonna tke cre them and you already have big connection to that kids then its very hard for you to let them go.So all I can advice for you is be ready for all the things that you don't expect to happen. As far as i know being a foster parent it doesnt mean the kids that you tking cre of will stay with you as long as u want them.Anyway i was so proud of you for having a kindhearted..keep it up and GOD bless you...!

Wow I really admire you for being such a helpful and loving person. I think what you´re doing is really wonderful and you will be greatly rewarded for that, When you give love you recieve so much in return, specially when it´s about kids. God bless you and I hope more people would be inspired by you to do the same.In our present time, there are so many children that need a home and love.
