I saw a passenger train here in podunk Alabama the other day! I didn't even realize they had passenger trains here. I'm not sure if there were any people actually on the train. By the time I noticed what type train it was, it was too far away to see anybody.
Do they still have passenger trains where you live?

Amtrak travels all over the country still as far as I know. I see the evening Seattle bound Amtrak flying down the tracks around 75 MPH. Like clock work it
is on time nearly all the time too.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I really don't think they do here in Knoxville, TN, but am not completely sure.. I do see trains all of the time but I don't think that we have any passenger trains, or at least that I know of.. I hadn't really thought of it until you asked the question.. I will watch closer and maybe find out for sure, because I don't like to feel so dumb about my own city..

I don't think we have passenger trains here in Ohio anymore but we do have trains that carry cargo. In fact, my mom got stuck behind one yesterday on her way home from work and normally they don't take that long to go through but the engineer was having problems with the train and had to keep stopping. My mom was stuck waiting, along with several other cars, for almost a half hour. :)
