This is to inform everyone who do not know yet that a two-headed boy 
was born in Bangladesh yesterday, August 27, 2008. His birth has caused such furor that he is now being held under police custody to keep him safe. His name is Kiron and he was born in Cesarian section.
What do you think of this? And if you have such a child, would you hide him or be proud of him or be horrified?

I did a search and it turned out true. There were also around 10 such occurrences documented in history.

there you have it in your post, "he is now being held under police custody to keep him safe."
for his welfare, they need to protect him from whoever might be interested and phenomenalize the birth of Kiron.
or to those who are conservatives, they might attempt doing something to the little baby just because he is different.
i think the parents are not horrified or ashamed of him. but they probably have to do it to safeguard the child.
i hope he turns out to be a healthy boy. =)
