have you ever wanted to change jobs cause of the people you work with

i have a great job. i love my job just dont like the people i work with. because of the job i cant just stay away fromt hem i have to work with them all the time and deal with them. they are all adults ages from 24-40 mainly but act like they are in jr high. gossip, lies, and they love to put others down. now mind you there are a few selected that arent like that but the most are. i dont feel comfortable at work. people are always trying to start something. i keep to myself as much as i can except with 2 other people. over 200 people in the building that i deal with all the time but only 2 people do i actually talk to at breaks and such. i have never worked for a place that is like this. not even resturants were this bad. there is a new company coming to town that does the same thing we do. i am thinking of applying there and hope it is a better class of people. its just i have been at this company for over a year and i like the company alot. i have moved up the ladder quick. the pay is really good. i just hate being there cause of the other people. it is like drama central.

Well i certainly look for another job if I am not comfortable with the people I am working with. It is important that you feel the honesty and happiness while working, because working is so stressful and you have to have someone you can rely and share this problem with. You have at least someone you trust and trust you as well to be able to stress out in the work field. If my case is like yours, I will look for other jobs but surely I will not give up my job until i found one.

I have, just because they were all bickering between each other and made it very tense. It just isn't a good work environment when people cannot get along.

It seems like this type of thing can happen in some jobs. You are making good money and can get promoted fairly easily however the company you have there seems to be a little of a struggle for you to deal with.
The fact that you need to see these people on a daily basis makes it a little harder for your encouragement. I have worked in places where it seems somewhat similar to your situation. I haven't been in the work force in a while and I am a stay at home mother right now. I might return to work someday. You just have to have some patience. I wish you luck if you do get another job.
