STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error} The Windows Logon Process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000005 (0x00000000 0x00000000). The system has been shut down. I have a Dell Dimension E310 about two years old. I am usually pretty good at fixing errors on my computer but this one has me stumped and aggravated. I have hooked up one of my old towers and am able to get online with this one but it is sooooo slow and old. I have tried many different things. I tried running in safe mode but now I can't even get to safe mode it shuts down after the windows logo appears. I tried reinstalling windows with my disc but it still shuts down before I am able to reinstall windows. I was able to find that my hard drive is not detected. I have searched online through google and Dell and microsoft websites to seek help. I have also found out through one of those sites that if I try repeatedly to fix this error I may cause further damage like with the mother board. I sought advice through a computer geek I know and he wants 75 dollars an hour. So I feel like I am out of avenues. Does any one know what I could possibly try without adding further damage to my PC? any and all help would be greatly appreciated here. Thanks in advanc!

Do not worry: your problem in not a CPU and then do not need a new computer. If your computer has the Windows 200 operating system this problem occurs if the domain name computer is long exactly 200 bytes. In this case the solution is fast: just download and install the latest service pack for Windows 2000. If I am not mistaken, however, the Dell Dimension E310 has yhe Windows XP operating system. So here the solution is a little more complicated. In this case the error STOP 0cC000021A occurs in the event of an error of Winlogon.exe or Csrss.exe. When the kernel of Windows NT notes thata one on these processes has been stopped, blocking the system and generates the erroe STOP 0xC000021A. Because this error could have many causes is necessary identify the cause and determine what processes were stopped and why. This procedure could be ong and difficult council therefore you restart the computer and press F8 when you see the message. At this point you should be able to make choices and then select "Last Known Good Configuration functioning" and thus shoukd get the operating system with the existing configuration of the first, If this does not work you agreed to reinstall the operating system. To do this you must enter in the computer's BIOS and make sure that the cd unit is selected as the unit boot so that when you turn on your computer the first thing that the system will red is the operating system CD. I hope to have been of help and I would like to know when can fix the problemn.

If you have installed new hardware in your PC, and it tis not supported with your motherboard then this type of error occur, or it may be due to bad sector in harddisk!
