I sometimes feel so,but then I feel I used to watch it as a kid and I enjoyed it never felt like its voilent. It seemed to be just a fight between cat and mouse where mouse was clever and always won. It used to be pure funny like someone slipping and us laughing our heads off.

I love the simpsons as my favorite cartoon which is also the longest running cartoon in history that isn't just repeats.

i like all cartoons and tom an jerry are definitely admirable, but i also feel mickey and pluto are in the race too....

I am afraid you are wrong in your assumption that Walt Disney created Tom & Jerry. They were the creation of William Hanna & Joseph Barbera who actually worked at the MGM Cartoon studio's, which in fact was a rival of Disney.

if my memory serves me right i think tom and jerry is not created by walt disney but hannah barbera, the same people behind the flintstones. i used to like tom and jerry when i was a kid but now that i have kids, i don't let them watch it that much because i think it is too violent.

I feel aladin is the best creation of Walt disney. The way they have presented the adventures of aladin is great. used to watch aladin daily when i was kid. read few stories in childhood..from then i used to like the character and its adventures.
